What is hypnosis?
Before undertaking hypnosis it is important to learn our minds. Our mind is divided into Conscious mind and Subconscious mind. Hypnosis is a state of consciousness of the brain, in which the conscious and subconscious regions of the brain are interactive at the same time, keeping the subject in a state of trance, and open to positive suggestions.
Hypnosis is a natural state of heightened awareness, where you are able to open your mind to beneficial suggestions and where you can make use of your imagination to make positive changes in your life. Concious mind refers to where we are today. Just below the level of awareness is our Subconcious mind.
Subconscious mind knows more better than you consciously. Well, just think, you are currently breathing, your heart is beating, you are digesting, your body is regulating its body temperature, it is doing a range of wonderful things without you having to consciously think about it.
You are not sat around thinking “How shall I keep my heart beating”. We are not machines, there is an brain within us that show us how to do these things, and it is that brain which tap into with hypnosis. Your subconscious mind is where you get your gut feelings, your imbued and judgment that give direction to you from time to time.
